Procedure for the verification of conditions
The Swiss Accreditation Council (SAC) has set a date by which higher education institutions that have obtained accreditation with one or more conditions must submit their dossier for the fulfilment of the conditions. By this date at the latest, the higher education institution must submit its dossier to the SAC. There is no template for the report; a format similar to the structure of the self-evaluation (report and evidence appended) has proved its worth. The dossier may be submitted to the SAC electronically.
The SAC forwards the dossier to the agency responsible for carrying out the procedure, after that the agency contacts the higher education institution to draw up a contract, define a timetable and discuss the composition of the group of experts. For reasons of consistency, the AAQ prefers to work with experts who took part in the procedure for first-time accreditation.
The SAC does not set a date for the verification of conditions by experts. There is therefore some room for manoeuvre. The duration of the procedure and the date on which the AAQ is to submit the dossier to the SAC are discussed at the start of the procedure.
