In its meeting of 7 June 2019, the Swiss Accreditation Council granted the accreditation to the study programme in pharmacy at ETH Zurich, study programmes in human medicine and in dentistry at the University of Geneva and study programme in pharmacy at the University of Basel.

In its meeting of 22 March 2019the Swiss Accreditation Council granted accreditation to two higher education institutions. The Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale HES-SO was accredited as university of applied sciences, whereas the Haute école pédagogique du canton de Vaud (HEP Vaud) was accredited as university of teacher education.

The AAQ has prepared a thematic analysis of the evaluations conducted by the OAQ from 2011 to 2014. The analysis focuses on the methodology adopted in the procedures, but also on the content of the assessments, with particular reference to one of the quality standards used.

In collaboration with AACSB, AAQ has carried out a comparative analysis of their mutual standards and procedures, and has issued a report on this process. The AAQ and AACSB have concluded that Combined Accreditation Visits are the only option currently possible if a HEI wishes to obtain both accreditations at the same time.

Following the 2016 review of AAQ’s compliance with the ESG, ENQA reconfirmed AAQ’s full membership for five years. The actual status of implementation for each recommendation made by the review panel is described in a table published recently.

In its meeting of 08.06.2018 the Swiss Accreditation Council granted accreditation to the HTW Chur as university of applied sciences.

Les inscriptions pour le 3ème colloque international du réseau francophone des agences qualité pour l’enseignement supérieur (FrAQ-Sup) sont ouvertes. Le colloque a lieu à Paris le 25 juin 2018 et a pour thème: “Ouverture internationale et francophonie: quelle plus-value pour la qualité de l’enseignement supérieur?”

Die AAQ hat im März 2018 zwei Quality Audits in Österreich abgeschlossen. Zertifiziert nach HS-QSG wurden die Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz sowie die Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz.

In its meeting of 15 December 2017 the Swiss Accreditation Council granted accreditation to the PH Luzern as university of teacher education.
