In its annual report, the Swiss Agency of Accreditation and Quality Assurance (AAQ) presents its activities and publishes its annual financial statement. The document is available online at this link.

The Swiss Accreditation Council (SAC) has set a date by which higher education institutions that have obtained accreditation with one or more conditions must submit their dossier for the fulfilment of the conditions. By this date at the latest, the higher education institution must submit its dossier to the SAC.

AAQ has edited its guide for the accreditation according to HEdA and MedPA. It is available in German, French and English on our website.

On 23 July 2023 the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) has granted AAQ recognition status for 10 years with immediate effect.

While the transitional period of the HEdA ends on 31-12-2022, preparations for the renewal of accreditation – also called reaccreditation – are in full swing.

In its meeting of 23 September 2022 the Swiss Accreditation Council granted accreditation to the EHSM as Fachhochschulinstitut.
