Accreditation pursuant to HEdA and MedPA: chiropractic study programme of the UZH accredited
In its meeting of 26 March 2021, the Swiss Accreditation Council granted the accreditation to the chiropractic study programme at the University of Zurich.
The procedural report, including the analysis and evaluation made by panel of experts in the external assessment, and the AAQ accreditation recommendation, is published.
The Medical Profession Act requires the accreditation of study programmes in human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy and chiropractic in accordance with section 31 of the HEdA. The purpose of the accreditation procedure is the combination of bachelor's and master's programmes, which constitute a six-year study programme within the meaning of the MedPA and lead to a federal diploma.
