Experts

The experts play a central role in the procedures. Their expertise and experience ensure that quality standards consistently meet the requirements of the AAQ.

Selection

The AAQ assembles a group of experts for each procedure and appoints a chairperson. The selection process complies with specific criteria and takes account of the profile and the development goals of the respective higher education institution or course of study. The AAQ makes sure that the experts are independent and able to make impartial judgments. The university alone is able to call into question the independence of specific teams. It is therefore involved in the selection process, but without compromising the integrity of the latter.

Principles and practices

Trust, integrity, confidentiality and discretion are the values on which the work done by the experts is founded. They are committed to providing objective descriptions and truthful reports. Their conclusions are based on facts.
